Hyderabad: Following in the footsteps of the main opposition Congress, Telangana TDP on Tuesday complained to State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) against the TRS government’s decision to shift the State Secretariat to Chest Hospital.

A TDP delegation led by the party Telangana unit President L Ramana met the SHRC Chairman ( in-charge) K Peda Peri Reddy and submitted a memorandum urging him to direct the government to withdraw the orders issued with regard to the shifting of the Secretariat.

Alleging that the Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao had decided to move Secretariat under the pretext of “vastu dosam,” the TDP leader said.

Moving Chest Hospital to outskirts would cause distress to patients and also worsen the traffic problem on the busy Ameerpet-Kukatapally stretch.
