TRS instructs its cadre not to create trouble

Hyderabad: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, who is making his first visit to Telangana after bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, is unlikely to face any opposition from Telangana activists. According to senior party leaders, the visit of Naidu will be a smooth affair as the TRS would not like to create any hurdles during his visit on Thursday.

It is learnt that the TRS leadership has given instructions to its cadres not to create any trouble during Naidu’s visit. Chandrababu Naidu, who will be reaching Hayagreevachary Compound at 11.30 am on Thursday, will address party workers and motivate them to work for Warangal Municipal Corporation election.

The party leaders are planning a massive 2000-motor bike rallyto receive Chandrababu Naidu at Pembarthy. The TDP supermo will interact with the party workers en route to the venue. The meeting will go on till 1.30 pm. After lunch break, he will meet constituency-wise leaders and workers till 8.30 pm. He will stay for the night at Hanamkonda and leave from the venue by helicopter on Friday at 8 am. Nearly 10,000 active members of the party are expected to attend the meeting.

A huge dais that could accommodate around 200 leaders was built for the meeting. “The meeting will give a much-needed fillip to the party in Telangana, “said senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao. Meanwhile, members of Bar Association have burnt an effigy of Chandrababu Naidu protesting his visit. Association president Gudimalla Ravi Kumar demanded the TDP chief to extend support for the bifurcation of High Court.

However, there is a possibility of sporadic protests by few groups. Advocates and Telangana Vikas Sangham are planning to hold token protests opposing his visit. Police have made necessary arrangements which a Z plus category VIP should get. No preventive arrests were made as it used to be in the past.

On the other hand, MRPS founder M Krishna Madiga demanded Chandrababu Naidu to clear his stand on categorisation of SCs before he comes to Warangal. He threatened that MRPS activists would express their dissent. In view of this, the district police made arrangements for roof-top security, road opening parties, shadow parties, special parties and combing parties.
