Kerala govt okays TS CM’s request for five acres of land at Sabarimala

Hyderabad: Kerala Education Minister PK Abdurub called on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the State Secretariat on Friday evening.

The Kerala Education Minister informed KCR that the Kerala Cabinet has approved allotment of five acres of land at Sabarimala for construction of Telangana Bhavan as requested by him to the Kerala Chief Minister. The discussion between both of them revolved around tourism, prohibition in Kerala, growing of Paddy and coconut, total literacy rate and introduction of e-literacy in Kerala State.

The Minister also informed that Kerala is full of greenery and there is no problem of rainfall in the State. He also said that most of the people from Kerala migrate to other places for better living. The Chief Minister praised Kerala’s Panchayat system. Ministers Pocharam Srinivas Reddy (Agriculture), Ajmeera Chandulal (Tribal Welfare), T Harish Rao (Irrigation), Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Lok Sabha MP Burra Narsaiah Goud, Government Representative in Delhi S Venugopalachary, Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma and OSD to CM Priyanka Varghese were present at the meeting.

Libby Benjamin, President, Confederation of Telugu Region Malayali Associations accompanied the Kerela’s Education Minister.
