Hyderabad: The Andhra Bank denied that at least five of its officers were interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and were taken into custody in Bengaluru in the case pertaining to Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL) chairman, T Venkatram Reddy’s arrest. A statement issued by the bank authorities on Thursday said, “We would like to mention that the information is not correct and no officer of our bank was in CBI custody in connection with the Deccan Chronicle case.”
