Telangana industries minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that on December 31, 2014 Rs 47,669 Crore was lent to the MSME sector of which Rs 16,610 crore were received by the micro enterprises and Rs 21,767 crore by small enterprises. To provide additional funds for MSMEs, Jupally Krishna Rao said that the government was formulating a scheme on the lines of the CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises).


Mr. Raos also added that to prevent incipient sickness of MSME units, the government plans to join hands with industry bodies to create a corpus fund.
