Nagoji Rao DIET students seek seats in other colleges
Forty students of Nagoji Rao DIET College staged a dharna along with their parents near the Collectorate here on Friday demanding that the officials concerned should allot seats in other DIET colleges located in Mahabubnagar city.
Mahabubnagar: Forty students of Nagoji Rao DIET College staged a dharna along with their parents near the Collectorate here on Friday demanding that the officials concerned should allot seats in other DIET colleges located in Mahabubnagar city.
Students said that seats were allotted in Nagoji Rao DIET College during the DIET counselling. They alleged that they were unaware whether the college has obtained the required permissions to run the course. They also expressed apprehension whether the college was having qualified faculty to teach students. A girl student said that the college was far away from the Mahabubnagar city.
Students submitted a memorandum to DRO Ram Kishan to allocate seats in the city-based DIET colleges. They pointed out that neither the staff nor the correspondent was available at the college to provide any information to them.
