Floor Leaders meet conceded by Speaker for unruly behavior by TDP members

A floor leaders’ meeting was called by the Telangana Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudana Chary on Monday to view the video footage during the Governor’s address to the joint legislature on Saturday that witnessed attacks on legislators, and disrespect towards the national anthem.

Opposition leaders demanded that action should be taken against the legislators after viewing the footage of the House proceedings to which the Speaker and the ruling TRS agreed. The meet includes the floor leaders of various parties in the Legislative Council chairman and deputy chairman.

For shouting slogans, showing disrespect to the National Anthem, the TRS, BJP and MIM demanded action against the members while the main Opposition Congress, TD demanded action against TRS members who attacked their members.
