Taking charge as the TPCC President on Sunday, N Uttam Kumar Reddy promising to bring back Congress rule in Telangana by 2019, he said that in all the party positions youth and women would constitute a major share.
Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took charge of their posts on Sunday as TPCC president and TPCC working president respectively at a meeting held in Gandhi Bhavan in the presence of hundreds of party workers and several party leaders from the state.
Criticizing the TRS government under Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao for encouraging defections of legislators into TRS rather than developing Telangana, he said that such attempts would not dither Congress. Also he asked why the women and the SC’s not given Cabinet births and promised to give more representation to youth, women in all party posts.
