RECCE to promote efficiency in key departments
The Telangana government on Friday constituted Revenue Coordination Committee (RECCE) for coordination among various revenue earning and enforcement agencies of the State and Central governments. According to GO-762 issued on Friday, Chief Secretary will head the eleven-member RECCE body that also has Principal Secretaries of various Departments as its members.

According to GO-762 issued on Friday, Chief Secretary will head the eleven-member RECCE body that also has Principal Secretaries of various Departments as its members.
The revenue earning departments, namely Commercial Taxes, Excise, Registration & Stamps and Transport Department contribute majority of the State’s Own Tax Revenue (SOTR). This body will exchange periodic information (every month) relating to firms and licences, details of cases of default or evasion of tax and recommend measures that will improve the potential to tap revenue.
