Nalgonda: Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy on Saturday felt that except Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), no other party had the moral right to seek votes in the elections of Graduates Constituencies of Legislative Council. Speaking at an election campaign meeting in Nakrekal in the district, Jagadish Reddy said the Congress, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and BJP had adopted dual standards on formation of Telangana State and were working against the interests of people of Telangana even after the formation of separate State..

Reminding that the Chief Minister’s top most priority was Nalgonda district, the Minister said that the State government had taken steps to set up thermal power plants with a capacity of 7,6,00 MW at Damaracharla in the district. Water Grid programme would also be launched in the districts and supply of safe drinking water would be ensured in all fluoride-affected villages and hamlets in thedistrict, he added.

He also appealed the graduate voters to cast their votes to TRS candidate of Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam Graduates’ Constituency Palla Ravinder Reddy.
