The Telangana government on Wednesday announced list of personalities who would be presented with Ugadi Awards this year. Around 28 awardees from 19 categories would be presented with a cash award of Rs 10,116 by the government on Ugadi. Some of the names in the list are: Goreti Venkanna, M Sujatha Reddy (Literature), N Shankar (Film), R Sadasiv (Mimicry), B Sarojini (Burra Katha), Vaddepalli Srinivas (Folk Music) etc.
