A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Dilip P Bhosale and Justice A Ramalingeshwar Rao on Tuesday made clear that no mining material across the state of Telangana can be transported without proper dispatch permits. The bench is dealing with a writ plea filed by Krishna Mohan Reddy. The petitioner complained that Snigda Reddy, the daughter of former minster DK Aruna and DK Bharatha Simha Reddy was indulging in illegal mining of road metal. The State government agreeing to the allegation said that the named respondent was in fact quarrying road metal from the area not allotted. The bench made clear that the Director Survey and Land Revenue would oversee the identification of the petitioner’s land and the same be fenced. The bench further made clear that no mining of any mineral would be dispatched without proper permits.
