Mahabubnagar: Health Minister C Laxma Reddy inaugurated works related to de-silting of Kothakunta tank in Annaram village of Farooqnagar mandal on Friday as part of the Mission Kakatiya programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Laxma Reddy said that the State government had launched the Mission Kakatiya project in a prestigious way to take up tank restoration works across the State.
He gave a call to people and people’s representatives to be part of Mission Kakatiya. Laxma Reddy alleged that previous State governments in united State have failed to restore tanks. He pointed out that famine can be rooted out from villages if tanks are restored.
