Asifabad (Adilabad): The incessant rains that hit Asifabad constituency have adversely affected the production of coal in the coal mines of Dorli-1, Dorli-2 and Kairiguda. The mango crop was also destroyed due to the unseasonal rains and it is feared that the yields might fall drastically. Several mango trees were uprooted and fruits were found lying on the ground useless.
