The two-judge PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday imposed costs of Rs. 1,000 on Aam Aadmi Party while dismissing its writ plea challenging the action of the Telangana government on the controversial decision of shifting the State Secretariat to Erragadda in the city. The bench was dealing with a public interest writ petition filed by Mohd Haizi belonging to the party.

The two-judge PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday imposed costs of Rs. 1,000 on Aam Aadmi Party while dismissing its writ plea challenging the action of the Telangana government on the controversial decision of shifting the State Secretariat to Erragadda in the city. The bench was dealing with a public interest writ petition filed by Mohd Haizi belonging to the party. The petitioner complained that the Chief Minister wanted the Secretariat to be shifted from the present location due to bad Vaastu and that such decisions could not be taken. The bench called for the file and upon inspection found that allegation made by petitioner was not true and dismissed the petition.
