Water grid project may get Korean company support

Hyderabad: The Telangana Drinking Water Grid (TDWG) project, the flagship programme of TRS government, is getting attention from across the shores. Korean Water Resources Corporation (K-Water), a renowned organisation of Korean government, has expressed interest to associate with the project. Representatives from this group met Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma in this connection on Thursday. Principal Secretaries of Panchayat Raj, MAUD and other officials were also present. Officials gave a presentation about the objectives of the water grid project, their plans on design, development and execution and the progress made thus far.
