lack of medical services hits Parigi. The people of Parigi village of Doma mandal in the district are facing severe hardships due to lack of medical facilities.
Parigi (Rangareddy): The people of Parigi village of Doma mandal in the district are facing severe hardships due to lack of medical facilities. Although the government has set up primary health centres by spending lakhs of rupees to provide medical services in rural areas, people are facing problems owing to the negligence of the medical staff.

Doctors are not available in the primary health centre at Parigi, though two doctors along with ANMs and para-medical staff numbering 30 should be present always in each centre. As the ANMs were not performing their duties properly, patients were not getting proper medical treatment and there was none to monitor the centre.
As proper medical services were not available in Parigi, those who met with accidents in the village die on the way before reaching the hospitals in the towns. The patients who come here especially during the evenings do not find any doctor and they are forced to go to Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, and other far off places. People demand that the government should take measures to improve medical services in the district.
