Good response to solar power pre-bid meeting
The pre-bidding meeting for the procurement of 2,000 MW of solar power in Telangana State received tremendous response. Hyderabad: The pre-bidding meeting for the procurement of 2,000 MW of solar power in Telangana State received tremendous response. More than 300 prospective developers, including global investors from Australia, America and UK, attended the meeting.The meeting was conducted by Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) on behalf of Telangana discoms here on Friday.
Developers, industrialists, Private Equity (PE) funds from India and abroad and NRIs sought clarifications on the procurement process in the meeting. TSTransco Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) D Prabhakar Rao and TSSPDCL CMD G Raghuma Reddy said the government was promoting solar power in a big way and make the State a hub of renewable energy resources.
