Health Insurance To TRS Cadres. Telangana Government has commenced health insurance scheme to its members.

Hyderabad: Telangana Government has commenced health insurance scheme to its members. The pink party entered into an agreement with the National Insurance Company in this connection. Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao handed over a cheque of Rs 4.64 crore to the representatives of ‘e-medlife’, a Third Party Administrator (TPA), on Friday.

Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, State adhoc committee convenor, was also present. This insurance scheme is set to benefit nearly 41.3 lakh members, who already submitted their complete details to the party. It may be mentioned here that 50 lakh members, active and general, enrolled their names in the recruitment drive taken up by the party in the last two months. The party declared that it would provide health insurance cover upto Rs 2 lakh for each member. KCR directed party leadership to collect details of the remaining members at the earliest and submit the same to the insurance company.
