On Monday, Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao held a review meeting with Cabinet and other officials where the reports were brought up district wise from district officials enquiring over the number of people dead and the amount of loss incurred in terms of crops.
KCR ordered Chief Secretary and Disaster Management department for more accurate details and announced Rs.5 Lakhs ex-gratia to people who lost their lives in the rains.
