Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has brushed aside the reports appeared in a section of the press that the differences between him and the TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy were growing.

Addressing a press conference here at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday, he said both of them were working together for strengthening the party in the State, and were regularly in touch with each other ever since they had taken charge of party affairs in the State. He said there were no differences, as made out in a section of the press, between the two in sharing responsibilities and termed them as rumours.

Criticising the State government’s decision to send MLAs in the guise of ‘progressive farmers’, he held that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was wasting public money on an unproductive purpose. “When KCR’s farmhouse produce is earning him Rs 10 crore within six months, then what is the need for sending people to Israel,” he ridiculed.
