TRS Plenary makes LB Stadium blush in pink. The three-day plenary session, the first ever since the bifurcation of state and TRS taking charge began with pomp and grandeur at the LB stadium in Hyderabad today with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao unfurling the TRS pink flag and offering prayers and flowers to the Telangana goddess.

Scores of TRS leaders gathered on the huge platform at the stadium which has been venue of indoor sessions of political parties and some swearing-in of populist governments since eighties. Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao appeared in his trade mark attire of spotless white shirt with layers of holy threads and shoulder bands for good luck and warding off evil forces.
Chandrasekhar Rao asked all the delegates to stand up for two minutes to pay respect for the martyrs of Telangana. The TS government plans to set up a martyr’s memorial at all district headquarters as a mark of respect and to imbibe spirit of Telangana movement among youth and people.
