World Veterinary Day observed
District collector Dr K Ilambarthi urged health officials to provide better health services to animals on World Veterinary Day which was observed here in Technology Training Development Centre (TTDC) on Saturday. Attending as the chief guest, Dr Ilambarthi conveyed wishes to all doctors and said, “A veterinary doctor should feel that it is a great opportunity to treat animals.

Livestock and other animals are very useful for the mankind. So, every one of us should take responsibility of protecting them.” The collector and his wife had been felicitated by veterinary doctors Aruna and Bharathi on the occasion. Veterinary Department Joint Director Anjaiah, Ella Foundation president Dr Pandu Ranga Rao, Dr Vijay Kumar, In-charge Municipal Commissioner Dr Venu Manohar Rao, DWAMA project director Dr Jagath Kumar Reddy and others were present.
