The TRS public meeting held at the parade grounds in secunderabad today brought hit road traffic hard as commuters struggled to move. The speeches of TRS leaders could be heard till Banjara Hills as loud speakers were installed all the way from secunderabad to Banjara Hills. Traffic on the ever crowded Begumpet stretch moved at a snail's pace as thousands of party workers, vehicles and the public in and around the parade grounds area made vehicular traffic impossible.

People could be seen taking a walk around the area with no regard whatsoever to the effect they had on the drivers and motorists who were struggling to wade through the congested road. A few people were even seen standing outside the parade grounds and on the flyovers causing a major inconvenience to the commuters. It took nearly two hours for one to reach from banjara hills to the secunderabad area owing to traffic jam near paradise stretch.

"I wonder why they had to hold a meeting during peak hours?" Asked a irate commuter who was heading home after a hectic Monday. "Politicians have least regard to public, else they wouldn't hold such meetings at a place which is a major junction. The Begumpet stretch is always crowded and peak hours on regular days are worse. As if that's not enough, this political meets have made matters worse," rued another.
