Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has shown that he is man of his words and never neglected his commitments. He has assured the villagers of Mothe in Nizamabad district that he would soon visit the village to keep his promise of being there after Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) formed the government.

He assured a delegation of people from the village led by Balkonda MLA V. Prashanth Reddy and recalled how the villagers had adopted a unanimous resolution demanding separate statehood to Telangana in 2001 immediately after the TRS was formed with that objective.

Moved and influenced by the villagers’ response, Chandrasekhar Rao visited the village then and vowed by picking up a fist-full of the soil (earth) of the village to bring it back after achieving the statehood. As vowed, he took back that soil and sprinkled it in the village in 2014 after the Parliament passed the Telangana Bill.

During his 2014 visit, Chandrasekhar Rao promised to visit the village again, if TRS was voted to power and work for its development.
