With the present level of investment in power sector, Telangana will be a power cut less state in 2016 and a power surplus state in 2018. KCR says that the state would have another 3000 MW by the year end to state grid in addition to the present supply of 4320 MW. It included 810 MW from Gayatri, 150 MW from NTPC, 600 MW from KTPC, 1200 from Singareni Jaypore plant.


He said the state has already announced uninterrupted power to industrial sector as a major incentive to attract industrial investment and project Telangana as a 'major investment destination in IT and manufacturing sectors.
