Cinema Chamber of Commerce has appealed to the state government to formulate ‘cinema policy’ for the new state. The need of the hour is encouraging Telangana Film Industry since Telugu Film Industry was well developed already.
In a press statement, the association general secretary Syed Rafi flayed Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav of ignoring interests of film fraternity and associations that belonged to Telangana.
Despite invitations from sons of the soil, the Minister was ignoring them and attending programmes held by Andhra-born film fraternity including the recent May Day celerabrations organized by bigwigs of Telugu Cinema, he lamented.
