‘TRS has disowned loyal party leaders and workers who were with it from the beginning and giving priority to new leaders, especially some anti-Telangana people’

Karimnagar: Senior Congress leader and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar who was vociferous against the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government and its supremo K Chandrashekar Rao in the recent past, has now gone a step ahead and fired a fresh salvo against KCR stating that Chief Minister was organising training classes to land grabbers, realtors and anti-Telangana people.

Speaking to reporters at R & B guest house, here on Sunday, Ponnam made this comments in reference to Telangana Rashtra Samithi’s -3 day training programme to impart lessons to its workers at Nagarjunasagar. Former MP urged TRS leadership to reveal the lessons taught to its party workers to the public.

Congress leader also claimed that TRS has disowned loyal party leaders and workers who were with it from the beginning and giving priority to new leaders, especially some anti-Telangana people. He also alleged that KCR was giving importance to cash-rich leaders who contributed heavily to the party coffers.

Talking about the state government’s prestigious programme water grid scheme, Ponnam said government was trying to gain more popularity by unleashing huge publicity for the scheme, even though, it was implemented in number of areas by the previous governments.

CM himself supplied drinking water to people through pipelines in his native Siddipet town , he said and demanded the government to conduct a comprehensive survey and implement the scheme at the places where it was required instead of wasting people’s money on it. He even threatened to move court if the government tries to go ahead with the present farm of water grid scheme.
