Buddha’s teachings are relevant today: Speaker. Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudana Chary on Monday said the teachings of Buddha were much more relevant today in the present political scenario in the country.
Hyderabad: Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudana Chary on Monday said the teachings of Buddha were much more relevant today in the present political scenario in the country. He was speaking at a function after offering tributes to Buddha along with Council Chairman Swamy Goud at Hussain Sagar here.

Speaking on the occasion, Chary said Buddha’s teachings were only solution for the problems India was facing right now. As messiah for peace and tranquility, Buddha toured the entire world and his preachings were of the immense value for building a better society.
“We need to follow Buddha’s words to make a better living,” he stated. He also said, “We can offer real tributes to such stalwarts and great personalities only through celebrating their birth and death anniversaries.”
