Telangana Cops join hands for Mission Kakatiya Mission Kakatiya took a new turn with the Telangana police in Khammam District who were impressed with the project joined hands and involved themselves in a tank renovation.
On Monday, Mission Kakatiya took a new turn with the Telangana police in Khammam District who were impressed with the project joined hands and involved themselves in a tank renovation. The tank at Ammapalem under Konigerla mandal was dug up 150 years back in 65 acres is catering to the farmers and locals needs.
District superintendent of police Shanwaj Khasim along with Wyra DSO Ramireddy and circle inspector Sathish took active part in the tank renovation. Mr Khasim said that Mission Kakatiya will change the life of rural people.
He added that the concept of storage water in the tanks has been practiced thousands of years ago and the ground water will increase in the surrounding villages of a tank. Also, that the renovation of the Ammapalem tank is everyone’s responsibility and the farmers have been raising crops more under tanks and bore wells said the District superintendent.
