Hyderabad: The Telangana government has appointed a committee to select winners from different fields for presenting awards during Telangana Formation Day festivities from June 1 to June 7. A Government Order to this effect was issued on Friday. Interestingly, the Telangana government released the GO with its contents fully in Telugu language, the first such instance since formation of the State.
The committee to be headed by Tourism Minister Azmeera Chandulal will consist of Government Advisor for Tourism, Telangana Samskruthika Saradhi Chairman, Chief Secretary, former MLC and noted academician Chukka Ramaiah and Poet Nandini Siddha Reddy as its members.
