New Delhi: National-level OBC organisations from various States met the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Friday under the leadership of R Krishnaiah, TDP MLA, to press their demands.
They urged the Prime Minister to introduce OBC Bill in the Parliament to provide for 50 per cent political reservations to BCs in the Assemblies and Parliament.
The OBC leaders from AP, Karnataka, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Chhattisgarh later gave a memorandum to the Prime Minister listing out their demands.
