Hyderabad: The Met office has warned of heat wave conditions prevailing at isolated places in Telangana on May 10. Nizamabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius on Friday. The maximum temperatures in Telangana appreciably rose at one or two places.


The recordings in Telangana were: Adilabad 41, Bhadrachalam 40, Hakimpet 38, Hanmakonda 41, Hyderabad 40, Khammam 40, Mahabubnagar 42, Medak 40, Nalgonda 42 and Ramagundam 43. In Andhra Pradesh, the maximum temperatures appreciably rose at one or two places in coastal AP and rose at many places in Rayalaseema. They were above normal at one or two places in coastal AP and Rayalaseema.


The highest maximum temperature of 42 degrees C was recorded in Kurnool and Jangamaheswarapuram. The other recordings were: Bapatla 35, Kakinada 39, Kalingapatnam 35, Kavali 39, Machilipatnam 37, Nandigama 41, Narsapur 35, Nellore 40, Ongole 38, Tuni 38, Vijayawada 41, Visakhapatnam, Anantapur, Kadapa and Tirupati 41 and Arogyavaram 37.

The Met office on Saturday forecast isolated rain or thundershowers in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and AP during the next four days. Thunderstorm with squall may occur at isolated places in Telangana on May 11 and in north coastal AP on May 13. Isolated rainfall occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and Telangana.
