No institution in Telangana state will function with AP government’s name on the buildings and the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) officials already have removed the APSCHE board after taking over the building at Masab Tank.

The High Court order was challenged by the AP Government who decided to fight in the Supreme Court but the Telangana government has directed the officials to take over the buildings unless any directives are issued by the SC. With majority of these buildings located in Hyderabad, the heads of these departments were asked to file similar petitions in courts on the lines of TSCHE, to takeover these buildings so that no legal troubles crop up in the future.

AP Inter Board has been asked to vacate the premises in Nampally immediately by the officials of the TS Board of Intermediate Education. In undivided AP, 107 institutions were located and of them 97 are located now in Telangana.

Within a year of bifurcation, these institutions were to be divided between AP and TS as per the AP Reorganization Act, but not all institutions have been bifurcated as many continue to operate from the same premises in different blocks. However, the Telangana State intends to take over these buildings by June 2.
