RTC bus set on fire at ECIL

Unidentified persons reportedly set a RTC bus on fire which was parked at the ECIL bus terminal on Sunday, however no casualties were reported.
Police sources said the bus (AP 11Z 2671) belonging to Kushaiguda depot plying on route no 16 was parked at the ECIL bus terminal on Sunday in the wake of the strike. A security guard at the depot saw flames erupting from the rear part of the bus.
He immediately called the crew who rushed in and tried to put out the flames. On information, fire tenders also rushed to the spot and the flames were extinguished. A case has been registered and further investigation is on, Kushaiguda depot manager Raghunath Sai said.
