Hyderabad: A 16-member German delegation, here on Monday, met Telangana Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, at Secretariat. The team led by Benhar Schust, Damic Matric, Rajesh Seth and other members from Germany, representing companies including German Engineering Federation, Deilman-Haniel Mining Systems GmBH, Seimag Tecberg, Voith Turbo, VDMA, Geo Constech and Scharf, which are into the fields of mining machinery manufacturing and sales, mining consultancy service, mining education and skill development.


The Minister apprised the delegation about the salient and unique features of New Industrial Policy of Telangana, TS-I PASS, T-IDEA and hassle-free arrangement for clearing projects within 15 days. He also explained about the availability of land bank, infrastructure, power, water and so on. He also briefed them about availability of a good number of internationally reputed institutes and skilled work force in the State.


Reiterating about good physical and social infrastructural facilities available in the State, Jupally requested the delegation to establish their units in the Telangana State. He also assured all possible cooperation to the investors in arranging hassle-free environment and best services from the State Government mechanism Arvind Kumar, Secretary, Industries and E. Narasimha Reddy, VC & MD, TSIIC answered various queries of the delegation on the key issues like power plants on the anvil in the State, Skill Development (TASK) programs and so on.
