TRS leaders allege breach of protocol

Karimnagar: It is common for Opposition leaders to raise protocol issue. But, as against the routine practice, the ruling party leaders are raising the protocol issue. Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders are unhappy with the government machinery for breaching protocol in government programmes.

For instance, senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Zilla Parishad chairperson, Tula Uma found fault with the officials for not following protocol during government official programmes. She conducted a review meeting with the engineers of Panchayat Raj, Water Grid and Rural Water Supply department at her chamber, here on Monday and instructed officials to strictly adhere to standard protocol.

She found fault with the officials for not intimating to public representatives about the government official programmes and writing names of the public representatives on plaques laid by VIPs for various developmental works. She wanted officials to inform the public representatives before inviting tenders for various developmental works sanctioned under different schemes.
