Speaking to media persons, Telangana CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said,\"CPI party along with 60,000 workers will be protesting against Land Acquisition Bill from all corners of both Telugu speaking states\".

Hyderabad: Opposing Land Acquisition Bill by Central government, Communist Party of India, on Wednesday, has decided to kick-start the 'Jail Bharo' agitation across the country from May 14. Speaking to media persons, Telangana CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said,"CPI party along with 60,000 workers will be protesting against Land Acquisition Bill from all corners of both Telugu speaking states".


Venkat Reddy further added "we will storm all collector offices in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and will also conduct 'Chalo Rajbhavan' from Khairtabad at 11 a.m". "This is just a beginning and our fight will go on until the Land Acquisition Bill is opposed in the parliament," Venkat Reddy added.


CPI leader also said that NDA government was trying to push the farmers from the frying pan into the fire through the new Land Bill which would make it easier the confiscation of the farmers’ lands. Meanwhile, Chada Venkat Reddy will participate in Chalo Rajbhavan in Hyderabad and CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana will participate in protests in Guntur.
