Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his son and State Panchayat Raj and IT Minister KT Rama Rao have been appointed as the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Telangana Drinking Water Supply Corporation (TDWSC) respectively, which is constituted to implement the government’s flagship scheme- Water Grid, aimed to supply drinking water to every household by 2019 in the Telangana.


The orders issued on Friday said that Principal Secretary to Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Principal Secretaries to Energy, Revenue, Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Environment and Forest departments and Engineer- in-Chief ( Rural Water Supply) and two independent experts nominated by the Union Government would be appointed as Directors of the Corporation.
