Hyderabad: The TDP is learnt to have made it clear to the BJP central leadership that it was not in favour of admitting the TRS into the NDA fold.On the other hand, it has also decided to mount pressure on the BJP to see that TRS was kept at bay. Talking to media, TDP senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday said the Telugu Desam Party would cease to be a part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance at the Centre, if TRS joins the Central Cabinet.

Errabelli Dayakar RaoErrabelli alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had been trying to please Prime Minister Narendra Modi in order to get a Cabinet berth for his daughter and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha. However, he said the TDP would come out of the NDA, if TRS joins the Team Modi.

On the other hand, the BJP state leaders said the media was making much ado about nothing. Party spokesperson National executive member Ramachandra Rao said that there was no such proposal either from the central leadership of the BJP nor did the TRS come forward with any proposal to join the NDA.

Congress leader Madhu Yashki has also alleged that KCR was making efforts to get a Union Cabinet berth for his daughter. Meanwhile, Kavitha has been trying hard to get closer to the Sangh Parivar. While inviting Union minister Uma Bharathi to launch Godavari Pushkaralu in Kandakurthi of Nizamabad district, Kavitha claimed that Kandakurthi was the ancestral village of RSS founder Hedgewar.
