Bifurcation of APSRTC on May 28, new RTC for Telangana

Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy who launched the TSRTC logo on Thursday said that APSRTC Corporation will function as two separate entities for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Minister also said that the process is going on the percentage to be hiked for the passenger fare and the diesel prices hike will be considered before a decision is taken.
He said that to overcome the losses occurred in the recent times, a committee has been formed by the corporation while the properties located in Telangana and AP will remain as it is and Rs 150 crore has been allocated for 500 new buses in Telangana.
