Mahabubnagar: Health Minister C Laxma Reddy said on Tuesday that Congress MLA Chinna Reddy was not assaulted intentionally. He urged media not to view the assault on MLA Chinna Reddy as personal, since it was just a dispute between workers of two political parties.
Speaking to media persons after inaugurating ‘Mana Telangana-Mana Vyavasayam’ at Shadnagar town, the Minister alleged that successive state governments in united AP had neglected agriculture in Telangana region. He said that newly-launched programme would be of immense help to farmers since it would provide valid suggestions on farming.
Reddy assured farmers that state government has been making plans to ensure adequate supplies of urea for all districts in the ensuing kharif season based on the reports of agriculture officials. The minister warned that government would file criminal cases against manufacturers of spurious seeds. He stated that government hospital at Shadnagar would be upgraded to 100-bed hospital.
