Cong demands CBI probe into Alair encounter

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Friday reiterated the demand for CBI probe into the killing of five Muslim under trails at Alair of Nalgonda in an alleged encounter with the police on April 7.

Addressing a meeting organised by TPCC Minority Department at Basheerbagh Press Club here on Friday evening, Uttam Kumar Reddy said condemned the encounter and described it as fake.

He alleged that the killing of five Muslim under trials was part of a larger conspiracy by the communal forces. He said that senior Congress leaders Digvijay Singh and S Jaipal Reddy have already demanded CBI probe into the encounter.
