Hyderabad: The Telangana TDP leaders on Saturday alleged that the fear of losing fifth seat in the MLC elections has led Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to give a statement threatening to dissolve the Assembly. Speaking to media persons here, TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao dared Chandrashekar Rao to dissolve the Assembly and seek fresh mandate.

He accused the Chief Minister of using his Cabinet colleagues as ‘brokers’ to ‘purchase’ the MLAs of opposition parties. He said that the Chief Minister had lost trust in his own MLAs. Errabelli alleged that the TRS government was giving high importance to the traitors of Telangana.

“None of the five TRS candidates has ever participated in the statehood movement. For the same reason, several TRS MLAs are unhappy over their candidature and might resort to cross voting,” he said adding that the TDP candidate would certainly win the MLC seat.
