Students lay siege to TSPSC office
Organised by TPCC, scores of students led by Osmania University JAC and TS JAC laid siege to the building of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Saturday. They questioned the existence of the commission, as not a single notification was issued, since the day of its formation.

The student leaders including OUJAC president K Vijay Kumar, chairman Charan Kaushik Yadav, convenor N Ramesh Mudiraj and several others were arrested and taken to Begumpet police station. Congress MLA S A Sampath Kumar, who met the students at the police station said that the government which had promised employment to all the students had betrayed them after coming to power.
Moreover, the same government which promised job to each household is now making illegal arrests and booking false cases against them. He demanded immediate withdrawal of cases against the students and release job notification. “If the government is sincere about its promises, which were made during the elections, it must fulfil its promises by providing jobs to youth,” the MLA said.
