High Court junks election pleas against three MLAs

Justice MS Ramachandra Rao of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday rejected three election petitions filed against sitting MLAs of Qutubullapur , LB Nagar and Kukatpally Assembly constituencies. The MLAs whose elections are resultantly upheld are KP Vivekanand, R. Krishniah and Madhavaram Krishna Rao.

The MLAs whose elections are resultantly upheld are KP Vivekanand, R. Krishniah and Madhavaram Krishna Rao.
All the three were elected on TDP tickets. The three election petitions were filed by the unsuccessful candidates K Hanumanth Reddy , Muddagoni Ram Mohan Goud and G Padma Rao respectively all from the TRS. The judge upheld the plea of the returned candidates that the election petitions did not satisfy the legal requirements .
