Hyderabad: Telangana Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy on Wednesday made sensational comments in regard to the note for vote case of Telugu Desam MLA A Reventh Reddy. Talking to media persons at Warangal, the home minister said that there were records to show that Chandrababu Naidu was the ‘kingpin’ in the note for vote episode that turned dirty and raised many an eyebrow.

He said that now Telugu Desam leadership was exerting pressure on Revanth to abstain from disclosing the name of Naidu during inquiry. Naidu had personally spoken to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson over phone and asked for a favour in the recently held elections and offered Rs 5 crore.

“We have records in this regard and the law will take its own course,” he stated. “Of course, the footage seen in television channels disclosed Naidu’s role in the murky handing over of Rs 50 lakh to Stephenson,” he said. As the case is sub judice, it is not good to speak about this, Nayini said.

Meanwhile, MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha in Nizamabad demanded that TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu should be made accused No 1 in Revanth Reddy bribe case. Participating in various development activities at Armoor, she said CM Chandrababu Naidu was continuously interfering in Telangana State issues and creating hurdles in the developmental activities.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao at a press conference in Hyderabad alleged that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was the principal accused in the case and demanded that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) book a case against Chandrababu Naidu.
