KCR: Telangana to be power surplus in 2-3 years

Stating that the Telangana government is taking steps to produce power according to the state’s needs from next year, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed confidence that Telangana would not purchase power from other states.

KCR on Saturday addressed electricity department engineers who visited the Chief Minister’s camp office to mark the first anniversary and remarked that Telangana will be a power-surplus state in the coming two-three years.
