CM to lay stone for Palamuru project
TRS floor leader in Parliament Jithender Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would lay the foundation stone for the Palamuru Lift Irrigation Project on Thursday. Participating in a programme with auto unions, Jithender Reddy alleged that Seemandhra leaders had shifted the water share of Telangana to the Andhra region during the regimes of united Andhra Pradesh.
Mahabubnagar: TRS floor leader in Parliament Jithender Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would lay the foundation stone for the Palamuru Lift Irrigation Project on Thursday. Participating in a programme with auto unions, Jithender Reddy alleged that Seemandhra leaders had shifted the water share of Telangana to the Andhra region during the regimes of united Andhra Pradesh.
The previous governments failed to release funds to complete the projects located in the Telangana region and not even accepted for a survey on Palamuru Lift Irrigation Project. He said the TRS government was giving top priority to Palamuru Lift Irrigation Project estimated to cost Rs.35,000 crore. Mahabubnagar MLA Srinivas Goud and former MLC Jagadeeshwar Reddy participated in the programme.
