Sharmila concludes second leg of tour

Nalgonda: The second phase of Paramarsha yatra of YSRCP leader Y S Sharmila in the district concluded in the town on Friday. Sharmila has consoled the family members of B Vasantha Rao, who died at Ankireddygudem village on hearing the death of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. She assured the family of all support.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, the YSRCP Telangana State Working President Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the TRS government had been neglecting the welfare of the people and deliberately diluted the welfare schemes launched by late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy government.

The farmers were facing hardship because of the apathy on the part of the government. He demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao fulfil all election promises. As for “vote for cash” scam, Srinivas Reddy demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu be included as accused number one in the case as he was the real boss to TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who, he said, was caught red-handed while bribing nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson. He alleged that Naidu was trying to get the support of those in power in Delhi wriggle out of the case.
